This article documents the most common error codes in the range 1900–1999. If you encounter an error code that is not documented here, use the More Help menu to contact our support team.
1902
The maximum number of Temporary Software Keys for this machine ID and Product Code has been reached.
1905
DinkeyChange error: There is no Temporary Software Key available to download (you need to create one for this machine ID using DinkeyAdd).
1906
The Software Key has not been downloaded correctly. You should try to download it again before you can use it.
1907
DinkeyChange error: The Temporary Software Key for this Machine ID has expired.
1908
You are trying to Create a Temporary Software Key but it already exists for this Machine ID.
You can specify the FLAGS_OVERWRITE_SWKEY to overwrite the existing key and not get this error.
1909
This error indicates that the date and/or time is incorrect on a user's machine. (NB we allow an hour leeway).
If the date and time looks correct then please also check that the time zone is correct on the user's computer.
1910
DinkeyChange error: The Temporary Software Key for this Machine ID has already been downloaded.
1920
You are trying to Create a Demo Software Key Template but it already exists for this Product Code.
You can specify the FLAGS_OVERWRITE_SWKEY to overwrite the existing key and not get this error.
1921
The "default" dongle model was specified but there is more than one model available in the Demo Software Key Template. You need to specify a specific dongle model.
1922
The requested dongle model is not available in the Demo Software Key Template.
1923
The Demo Software Key Template for this Product Code has been disabled.
1924
You have run out of Demo Software Key activations. Therefore nobody can download a Demo Software Key from any of your templates.
You need to order some more Demo Software Key activations.
You could also get this error if it is the first time you have used the Demo Software Key. In this case you need to login to the Demo Software Key Management Portal and set up your account: https://www.microcosm.co.uk/swkey/manage.
1932
A server-side error occurred in DinkeyOMS while attempting to apply the update code. The extended error is the DinkeyRemote error code. Please contact Microcosm with full details of this error.
1938
This error is given by OMSRuntime when the operation could not be completed because there are no transactions left on the DinkeyOMS account.
For example, OMSRuntime might be trying to register a dongle with DinkeyOMS for the first time, or it might be trying to apply a pending update to a dongle. These actions will use up one transaction and can only be completed if there are some transactions on the developer account.
Solution: the software owner needs to purchase some more transactions for their DinkeyOMS account.
